The main structure capping ceremony of the first phase of the South China Manufacturing Base Project of SEW (Foshan) Co., Ltd. was held grandly. Zhang Shengli, Executive Chairman of SEW Transmission (China) Investment Co., Ltd., Chen Xinwen, Member of the Standing Committee of the Foshan Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Shunde District Party Committee, leaders of various departments of Shunde District, Foshan City, and representatives of all parties involved in the project, totaling more than 100 people, gathered together to witness this important moment. The scene was roaring with salutes to celebrate the golden capping, marking the official capping of the main structure of the first phase of this modern intelligent manufacturing base with a total investment of more than US$500 million. Chen Xinwen, Member of the Standing Committee of the Foshan Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Shunde District Party Committee, said that SEW Group is world-renowned in the field of international power transmission and is known as the "pioneer in the world transmission field." Two years ago, Saiwei established the largest intelligent manufacturing base in South China in Shunde. With a foothold in the Bay Area and a national vision, it cast a vote of confidence in Shunde's business environment and local services, and laid an important foundation for the high-quality development of Foshan and even Guangdong. A "chain leader" brings prosperity to an industrial chain. After the first phase of Saiwei Industrial Reducer South China Base Project reaches full production, it will deeply empower Shunde's robot and automotive automation equipment manufacturing companies with the status of "chain leader", attract and drive the aggregation of companies upstream and downstream of the global industrial chain, realize industrial linkage with local companies, and strengthen Shunde's high-end equipment manufacturing and industrial robot industry clusters, forming a magnetic field effect of "introducing one, bringing a batch, and radiating the world".
