The perfect solution for simple servo applications
The SINAMICS V70 servo converter is primarily designed for controlling standard applications of turning and milling machines. It enables precision and efficiency of the machines through bus communication with the CNC control 808D ADVANCED, 3-fold overload capability and the 20-bit absolute encoder with high resolution in the feed motors SIMOTICS S-1FL6 and the main spindle motors SIMOTICS M-1PH1. Together, the products result in optimally matched axis packages.

The drive system comprises the SINAMICS V90 servo converter and the SIMOTICS S-1FL6 servo motor. The system features eight converter frame sizes and seven motor shaft heights to cover a power range of 0.05 to 7.0 kW for operation in single-phase and three-phase networks. It can be integrated easily via PTI, PROFINET, USS or Modbus RTU. The SINAMICS V90 servo drive system enables a host of simple motion control tasks to be implemented cost-efficiently and conveniently with the focus being on dynamic motion and processing.

The SINAMICS G120C combines an extremely compact design with integrated safety function and a wide range of functions for diverse applications.

With seven frame sizes, it covers a power range from 0.55 to 132 kW.

The modular multifunctional frequency converter
The SINAMICS G120 is a modular frequency converter for the most diverse requirements. The modular structure of the components and the wide power range from 0.55 to 250 kW ensure that you are always able to assemble the ideal converter for your requirements.

This series of converters is available in three voltage variants for connection to 200 V, 400 V and 690 V networks. In addition, the SINAMICS G120 features a comprehensive safety package. STARTER or SINAMICS Startdrive is used for commissioning the safety functions.

The modular SINAMICS S120 drive is the modular system for high-performance motion control applications in industrial plant and machinery construction. Customized solutions can be implemented based on a wide range of components and functions that are optimally coordinated with one another. For instance, high-performance single-motor drives and coordinated drives (multi-axis applications) with vector or servo functionality. Users of the SINAMICS S120 drive will benefit from a system that offers higher performance, enhanced productivity and improved flexibility.

The compact SINAMICS S150 cabinet units are designed for variable speed drives in machine building and plant engineering. They are particularly suitable for use with variable speed drives with high demands on dynamics and speed accuracy, frequent braking cycles with high braking energies and 4-quadrant operation.

SINAMICS S150 offers high-performance speed control with high accuracy and dynamics. The inverter cabinet units are available for the power range from 75 kW to 1200 kW.

With this converter, which is provided specially for use with the newly developed SIMOTICS S-1FK2 motors, Siemens offers a new servo drive system with various performance classes from 50 W to 7 kW. The converter already has an integrated safety function and configuration couldn't be easier.

Connection to the higher-level controller is implemented via PROFINET, commissioning through the web server, and One Button Tuning is a real delight. Finally, the design prize-winning SIMOTICS 1FK2 servo motors move small loads highly dynamically and medium to large loads extremely precisely.

SIEMENS | INNOMOTICS SIMOTICS General Purpose low voltage motors with aluminum frame are suitable for a wide range of standard drive tasks in the industrial environment. As a result of their especially low weight, they are predestined for pump, fan and compressor applications. However, they are also admirably suited for conveyor technology and lifting equipment.

The proven, for line operation optimized 1LE1 low voltage motors are available in the efficiency classes IE1 to IE4. All motors have the same power rating-shaft height-assignment. This means that there are no shaft height jumps – neither for service nor retrofit cases. 1LE1 motors offer a future-proof platform.

The system is easy to install, features a fast start-up, and is extremely user friendly. Thanks to Safety Integrated, the Safe Torque Off (STO) safety function can be used with any SINAMICS G110M with no additional external components. The compact device, available in two sizes (FSA, FSB), is space saving and offers flexible application fields. In addition, it is integrated into the TIA Portal – the intuitive engineering framework from Siemens – which allows efficient integration into a superordinate SIMATIC controller.
